Though our transportation logistics were complicated, from individual airport shuttles to group transfers, everyone in your company provided consistently excellent service. The purpose of this communication is to give my thoughts on the performance of Sunshine Shuttle. NPC International contracted with Sunshine Shuttle for the transportation needs of our Area General Manager Conference which took place in Destin, Florida April 25-27. We contracted for large group airport shuttles, executive limousine service, and smaller activity shuttles.
Although we have used Sunshine Shuttle twice in past years for this same annual function, this was indeed the best year. [John] Finch and team “listened” to our requests from arrival to departure and made sure we were satisfied.
I can’t say enough positive things about the one-on-one availability by our personal Sunshine Shuttle rep, Donovan Lindo. As unplanned changes to our schedules took place, Donovan was there to calm our fears and made our unexpected challenges seem routine. He was a phone call away day and night and on sight during our large moves. When we asked Sunshine to allow lunches on board and help with the clean-up, they responded, “no problem”! When we asked them to bring us another vehicle, “no problem”!
It’s always a challenge to plan this event each year from our Overland Park, Kansas office, but our relationship with Sunshine Shuttle has made our transportation needs pretty much “routine”.

I wanted to take this time to make aware of the excellent job John Finch and his team delivered for our National Sales attendees. Specifically Donovan Lindo who not only was in constant contact with me at all hours of the day but always had a positive and together attitude along with always having everything organized and ready to deliver in a moments notice. A perfect example of this was an attendee who had a family emergency and needed to get home right away. I called Donovan and before we could get our attendee to the lobby there was a car ready to take him to the airport. He didn’t have to wait and was very impressed of the fast and reliable service.
Chris at Sunshine Shuttle was always on top of things with changes, cancellations and the countless spreadsheets that I requested and she always had such a cheerful disposition which made working with her a pleasure.

I want to thank you for the excellent service we received while in Destin this past weekend! I have never worked with a more reliable and honest transportation company in my 10 plus years of event planning. I was impressed with the level of service I received every time I called in to speak to someone. All our personal cars and group shuttle coaches were on time and Donovan went above and beyond by communicating, arriving early and assisting with an elderly women in a wheelchair in our group. He answered my phone calls each and every time and was always so polite and passionate about what he does.
When I was shopping around for transport I was given several names by the Hilton. The first company I contacted tried to charge us double of what your company charged and I felt the owner I spoke to felt entitled to my business. He bad mouthed all the other transport companies which was a huge turn off to me and that is when I told myself I would rather pay triple than use his company. I then called Jon Lovett at the Hilton to tell him to no longer refer this company and he then gave me your name and number. I have asked the Hilton to use you as their preferred referral transportation company. I let them know the excellent level of service I received and the great quality of your fleet.

As crazy as out production days become with everything from flights being rerouted from Panama City to Tallahassee, our talent suddenly wanting to be brought to random locations, and the sudden extra numbers of crew that needed rides, there was never any hesitation from you guys. Sunshine Shuttle’s service was critical in helping us to restore power to more than 28,000 electric customers following the devastation of Hurricane Ivan. We brought in more than 200 crew members from other electric cooperatives and contractors to assist us in this monumental effort. We were unable to find lodging for many of them close to their assigned work sites. Your organization shuttled them safely and professionally from their lodging to meal sites, then on to work sites in the early morning hours. Your friendly and helpful staff picked them up in the late evening hours, shuttled them back to meal sites, then on to their lodging sites.
Work sites, lodging sites and meal sites changed frequently… sometimes on a daily basis. But your top-notch employees responded promptly and courteously to every demand made on them, many times at the last-minute. We found your entire staff to be pleasant and accommodating. Your organization made life a little easier for me, as the CHELCO coordinator of this effort, and for the crew members they served. For this, we are grateful.
